Why Estill...

It can be hard to find real answers when studying voice. So many sources and teachers guard it as sacred knowledge as if understanding physiology and anatomy would somehow ruin the magic of singing. In my undergraduate speech pathology program, there was only one voice class, and it barely scratched the surface. I knew there had to be more to understanding the voice. More than just anatomy diagrams and theories. That curiosity led me to Estill. When I took my first course, it was a revelation. For the first time, I had a system that connected the physical aspects of the voice with the sounds we create. It was like unlocking a secret code where every movement had a direct impact on vocal quality. No more guesswork. Just clear, actionable tools to shape and refine the voice.

What I love about Estill is its lack of aesthetic bias. It doesn’t tell you the right way to sing or speak. Estill Fast Pass is a 12-week intensive training designed to help you master the Estill Figure Proficiency (EFP) or Estill Master Trainer (EMT) tests. With weekly structured lessons, guided practice, and expert feedback, you’ll build the control, precision, and teaching skills needed to successfully complete your Estill certification.

How it Works

Sunday: Receive your weekly training featuring videos, prompts, and slides.

Wednesday: At 1pm EST Attend a LIVE practice group. We record the session if you can't attend.

Thursday: Submit Video Homework for individualized Feedback

Friday: At 1pm attend a LIVE Q&A to refine your technique and get personalized guidance. We record the session if you can't attend.

Overview: The Estill Fast Pass is a 12-week intensive study program designed to enhance your vocal skills through focused practice and feedback. The program culminates in an Estill Figure Proficiency test.

What’s Included:

Weekly Resource Links: Sent out every Sunday night, these links provide access to videos, prompts, slides, and other resources covering the figure(s) of the week.
Practice Submissions: Submit videos of your practice using Estill VoicePrint Plus by Wednesday each week.
Video Reviews: Your practice videos will be reviewed and feedback provided on Thursday.
Live Group Feedback Session: Join a live feedback class on Friday to discuss what to practice, ask questions, and receive personalized feedback. This session will be recorded for later access.
